Products Description

10 Years Lithium Battery Smoke Alarm
Battery smoke detectors are suitable for power outages because they can continue to operate independently of a power source. However, batteries need to be checked and replaced regularly to ensure their reliability. Battery-operated smoke detectors should have a test button or a chirp that sounds when the battery starts to drain.
Hardwired smoke alarms are more reliable than battery-operated smoke alarms because they have a constant power source. Hardwired smoke alarms provide 10 years of protection. Hardwired smoke detectors may require professional installation, but they provide reliable power and interconnect capabilities for enhanced safety.

Should I mount the alarm on the ceiling or on the wall?
Mount smoke alarms high on walls or ceilings (remember, smoke rises). Wall-mounted alarms should be installed no more than 12 inches (300 mm) from the ceiling (to the top of the alarm).
If the ceiling has a slope, install the alarm within 36 inches (910 mm) of the ceiling peak, but not at the apex of the ceiling peak (within 4 inches (100 mm) of the ceiling downward).
Avoid installing smoke alarms where there is air movement or drafts, such as near a window or near an HVAC system's air supply.
1. You can install it yourself, no electrician required.
2. Many models come with a 10-year warranty.
3. You'll have peace of mind knowing your family is protected.
4. Detectors are designed to be as effective as possible, so you can rest assured that they will detect smoke and carbon monoxide accurately and quickly.
5. The chamber inside the detector is sealed for 10 years, so you don't have to worry about dust or other debris interfering with its operation.
6. Most models also include a low battery indicator so you know when the device needs to be replaced.

Every 10 years (7 years for combined CO/smoke alarms) according to manufacturer's date on back label
If the alarm signals end-of-life (see signal description on back of alarm)

How to choose a 10-year sealed battery alarm
If you are looking for a 10-year sealed battery alarm, there are a few things you should keep in mind to ensure you choose the one that best suits your needs. First, consider the environment in which the alarm is used. If it will be exposed to extreme temperatures or humidity, look for an alarm designed for those conditions. Second, consider the power supply. If you need an alarm that runs on AC power, make sure the model you choose is compatible with your electrical system. Finally, consider the size and location of the equipment. Some alarms are designed to be mounted on a wall or ceiling, while others can be placed on a shelf or table.
What are the benefits of having 10-year sealed batteries for smoke and carbon monoxide detectors?
1. You never have to worry about replacing batteries. With sealed batteries, you can rest assured that your detector will always be working, even if the power goes out.
2. Sealed batteries are more reliable than traditional batteries. Because sealed batteries are not affected by temperature changes or other factors that could affect their performance, sealed batteries last longer and work better than traditional batteries.
