Products Description
Inter-Connectable Smoke Detector with RF Module
Wireless detectors and their internal transmitters use one or more internal batteries as the source for their operating power.
Supervision of the internal battery power source is incorporated within the smoke detector circuitry. If the battery power source depletes to the threshold specified by UL, the smoke detector will sound a local alert and initiate a trouble signal once per hour for a minimum of seven days or until the battery or batteries are replaced.

What do I need to know before installing a fire alarm system?
1. Building Layout Considerations: Area and Coverage
Proper placement goes beyond individual devices to creating zones and ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout the building.
Zoning: The division of a building into areas, each monitored by a specific circuit. This zoning enables targeted response and faster identification of fire locations. This is especially beneficial for large buildings, where a centralized approach can cause delays.
Comprehensive coverage: Strive for comprehensive coverage and reduce blind spots. The goal is to detect fires as early as possible, regardless of location. This involves strategically placing detectors and equipment to create an interconnected protection network.
2. Professional installation: the cornerstone of reliability
While understanding the principles of proper placement is crucial, execution is in the hands of the professionals. Entrust the installation of your fire alarm system to certified and experienced technicians. Their expertise ensures not only regulatory compliance but also optimal performance and reliability.
3. Regular inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the entire system, including detectors, alarms and control panels. The inspection should verify that all components are in working order and not damaged or blocked.
Testing procedures: Implement regular testing procedures, including simulated alarms, to ensure the system responds appropriately. This test not only verifies the functionality of individual components but also the integrity of the entire system.
Documentation Maintenance: Maintain current documentation of all inspection and maintenance activities. This documentation serves as a historical record of system performance and can aid in future troubleshooting or system upgrades.
